What Is The Difference Between The Bitcoin (BTC) Blockchain Vs. The Nextcoin (NXT) Blockchain?

The NXT crypto currency was invented by BCNxt.

It uses the same public ledger blockchain concept that was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto.

Although the concept of the public ledger (blockchain) is the same, the way each one is created is drastically different because BTC’s public ledger is created and secured based on a “Proof of Work” scheme while NXT’s public ledger is based on a “Proof of Stake”.
